RWU-90 Cable

RWU-90 Wire
In the harsh Canadian winter environment, there are a few cables that can hold up to the elements. Corrpro offers RWU-90 cable as a versatile option to be used in galvanic cathodic protection, impressed current cathodic protection, use with reference cells & coupons and for AC mitigation applications. RWU-90 is made with a low temperature, moisture resistant cross-linked polyethylene insulation. This insulation is CSA rated for direct burial and has an operating temperature of -40°C (-40°F) to 90°C (194°F). RWU-90 cable comes in a variety of colours, which Corrpro stocks in #8 AWG and #10 AWG sizes.

RWU-90 Cable Data Chart
RWU-90 Cable can be used for impressed current and galvanic cathodic protection. Being a cable that is rated for direct burial, it is commonly used with sacrificial Magnesium and Zinc anodes. For impressed current applications, RWU-90 is commonly used for continuity bonding and for semi-deep anode install applications. For extended lead lengths for Coupons and permanently installed reference electrodes, RWU-90 is also the cable used for this application due to the operating temperature range of the cable.
Corrpro stocks a full line of RWU-90 cable. When ordering RWU-90 cable please indicate the conductor size required, colour of the jacket and the quantity you may require. RWU-90 is sold in 300m (985 ft.) reels.
